According to reports, Teijin company has teamed up with Nisshinbo Postal Chemical Co., a company using containing polyethylene to dimethyl benzene standard of waste plastic bottles to make a product which they called ECOPE paper.The thickness of these new type of environmentally paper is the same as the ordinary paper, but due to the raw material is plastic so it is not easily be torned and also can not be teared.
ECOPE paper is used for laser printer, at the same time, it is directly applicable to the general pens, etc. Because it does not contain smooth or thin film coating,so the paper can also be adhesived or cut like a general paper. What's more, because it is just a layer of plastic, so it can be used countless times.
Unlike conventional paper, ECOPE paper can also be suitable for outdoor decoration, label and packaging frozen goods, etc.At present, there is no price information of this kind of paper. But Teijin and Nisshinbo say they will supply it for the business users first.
